Fatality Alert - June 10, 2019

This week’s talk is of a fatality that occurred at a gravel operation where Collin Sawasky was working as an apprentice electrician. Colin was leveling the bottom of a trench so that he could lay some electrical conduit when the front-end loader being used to back fill the trench got too close to the side of the ditch causing the b

ank to collapse and the front-end loader to slide into the trench. Colin was fatally injured when he was pinned between the front-end loader and a jersey block.
