To perform the service of a contractor at either the Signal Mountain Cement Company Plant or Bennett's Lake Quarry, certain items of compliance must be adhered to.

First and foremost, both the Signal Mountain Plant and Bennett's Lake Quarry are considered mines; as such, they fall under the jurisdiction of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).  As an Independent Contractor on mining property, you are essentially a Mine Operator and must abide by not only the rules of the Plant and Quarry, but also by the rules of the MSHA.
